To cut students botheration VC Punjabi University inaugurates student friendly ‘Service Windows’

Today, Dr Arvind Vice Chancellor Punjabi University Patiala inaugurated service windows at Enquiry and Information Centre .
This is second initiative taken towards services that have been started at Enquiry and Information Centre for the facilitation and to reduce botheration of the students who usually visit university for different examination related works, distance, education related, works and various other services.
These windows will provide service related to Examination branch near main gate of the university. It will reduce harassment, botheration of the students and parents as well as overcharging by cyber cafes will also be stopped with the start of the services. Dr Navjot Kaur, Registrar Punjabi University Patiala appreciated the work done. She said that students will no longer be harassed for availing university services.
Dr Prabhleen Singh, Incharge Enquiry And Information Centre briefed that in coming future more services will be provided at the centre and it will be modernised very soon with the help on University authority. He also said that cyber cafes were charging huge money for applying online services which will be stopped with this initiative. It is mentioned here that earlier one window of Publication Bureau was also started at the centre which is successfully running.
